Abertura oficial do BIP Smart Cities & Integrated Mobility
Teve lugar no dia 16 de abril de 2026, em formato online, a sessão de abertura oficial do Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) – Smart Cities & Integrated Mobility, promovido pelo Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL), no âmbito do programa Erasmus+, sob a alçada da aliança universitária europeia U!REKA da qual a CML também faz parte.
Official opening of the BIP Smart Cities & Integrated Mobility
The official opening session of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) took place online on April 16, 2026. The programme is promoted by the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL) within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, under the umbrella of the European University Alliance U!REKA, of which the Lisbon City Council (CML) is also a member.

Foi lançado ontem o desafio “02_26 Movimentação de pessoas na área inundável por tsunami na cidade de Lisboa”, que convida a comunidade académica a desenvolver soluções de análise e visualização de dados para apoiar a preparação municipal em cenários de risco extremo.
The “02_26 Movement of people in the tsunami flood-prone area of the city of Lisbon” challenge was launched yesterday, inviting the academic community to develop data analysis and visualisation solutions that support municipal preparedness in extreme‑risk scenarios.

Comité do LxDataLab faz balanço anual e define prioridades para o próximo ano letivo
Realizou se a 17 de março de 2026 a reunião do Comité do LxDataLab, que contou com a presença de representantes do ISCTE, UBI, ISEC, NOVA IMS, LNEC, ISCAAC, NOVA FCSH, Universidade do Minho, IGOT e NOVA SBE. O encontro permitiu fazer o ponto de situação das atividades desenvolvidas no último ano, desde a gestão do projeto e dos desafios até às melhorias implementadas e em curso. Mais uma vez, foi reforçado o compromisso conjunto entre a CML e as instituições parceiras para aprofundar a colaboração e ampliar o impacto do projeto nos serviços municipais e na academia.
The LxDataLab Committee meeting was held on March 17, 2026, with representatives from ISCTE, UBI, ISEC, NOVA IMS, LNEC, ISCAAC, NOVA FCSH, the University of Minho, IGOT, and NOVA SBE in attendance. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the activities carried out over the past year, including project management, challenge development, and both completed and ongoing improvements.
Once again, the joint commitment between the Lisbon City Council (CML) and the partner institutions was reaffirmed, with the shared goal of strengthening collaboration and expanding the project's impact across municipal services and academia.
