BIP participants visit the CML stand at the Portugal Smart Cities Summit
No âmbito do Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Smart Cities & Integrated Mobility, promovido pelo Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL) no contexto da rede U!REKA, financiado pelo programa Erasmus+, os participantes estiveram presentes na Portugal Smart Cities Summit, no passado dia 12 de maio.
O programa reúne docentes e estudantes de várias instituições europeias, nomeadamente de Portugal, Países Baixos, Alemanha, Bélgica, Ucrânia, Polónia e Chéquia. Na componente presencial, participaram em Lisboa três professores e 25 estudantes internacionais, a que se juntam os estudantes e participantes do ISEL/Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa.
A componente presencial teve início a 11 de maio, com uma sessão de receção e apresentações, seguida de visitas de campo aos terminais intermodais do Oriente e do Cais do Sodré, acompanhadas pela Câmara Municipal de Lisboa.
No dia seguinte, os participantes visitaram o stand da CML na Portugal Smart Cities Summit, onde dinamizaram uma sessão de recolha de ideias com vista à exploração de soluções para os desafios identificados. A visita culminou com a realização de pequenos pitches, nos quais os grupos apresentaram os problemas analisados e as propostas desenvolvidas.
O BIP termina esta sexta-feira, com a apresentação dos resultados finais dos trabalhos, centrados na melhoria da experiência dos utilizadores nos terminais intermodais. Estes resultados serão também apresentados no 4.º Encontro do LxDataLab, a realizar-se a 26 de maio, no CIUL.
Within the framework of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Smart Cities & Integrated Mobility, promoted by the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL) under the U!REKA network, financed by Erasmus+ program, participants attended the Portugal Smart Cities Summit on May 12.
The programme brings together lecturers and students from several European institutions, namely from Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Ukraine, Poland and Czechia. In the on-site component, three professors and 25 international students took part in Lisbon, alongside students and participants from ISEL/Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa.
The on-site component began on May 11 with a welcome session and presentations, followed by field visits to the Oriente and Cais do Sodré intermodal terminals, accompanied by the Lisbon City Council.
On the following day, participants visited the CML stand at the Portugal Smart Cities Summit, where they carried out an idea-generation session aimed at exploring solutions to the challenges identified. The visit concluded with short pitches, during which the groups presented the problems analysed and the solutions developed.
The BIP will conclude this Friday with the presentation of the final results, focused on improving the user experience at intermodal terminals. These results will also be presented at the 4th LxDataLab Meeting, to be held on May 26 at CIUL.
